Remember, remember the month of MOVEMBER, Whiskers, moustaches and......too much facial hair?

Movember is nearly upon us, a month dedicated to excess facial hair, dodgy moustaches and a fun way to raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity. Movember started in Australia in 2003, and has steadily grown into a global event, where men across the world ditch the razors and grow facial hair for a month, raising money for a very worthwhile cause. In 2009, over 250,000 people took part, and raised over £26 million for Movember's global beneficiary partners.

Basilisk Director, Craig Salt, and engineer, Paul Clark were two of those taking part in 2009, and this year there is Team Basilisk – Craig and Paul are taking part again, and are joined by two of our other engineers, Stephen Gilmer and Darren Wright, and co director Emma Salt is supporting the cause, but would like to stress that she is NOT growing a moustache. We are hoping that more will join us on our adventure, so to join, go to the Movember website (uk.movember.com) and join Team Basilisk.

Each week we will bring you our Movember blog complete with hirsute pictures, do please join us, or to donate go to: Team Basilisk on Movember
