What we’ve been upto so far in 2018!
It’s been a busy few months at Basilisk Data!! At the start of this year we started subcontracting for a leading WiFi Infrastructure company to work on major wireless installation projects.
In the space of 24 hours of an initial conference call we were asked to perform RF surveys for brand new purpose built manufacturing warehouses across the UK along with company head office refresh.
Our engineers are highly skilled with both Ekahau Site Survey and AirMagnet products to give the best results possible to supply an accurate plan to improve coverage. Be it repositioning or planning for additional access points. Some of this involved an in-depth audit of existing structured cabling, switch capacity and potential upgrades to provide extra power to POE devices.
Any potential issues installing the wireless devices on the existing network surveys were flagged in an in depth audit so it could be rectified prior to the new devices being installed. All the information gathered by our engineers has proved highly useful to provide the best predictive outputs possible using our custom Aruba access point used for active surveying.
After the installation of the new access point networks we have also been asked to provide support services for maintaining the new networks.
